Is there any badass The Rock can't play??

Dwayne Johnson will be the next Hercules when he signs on to Brett Ratner's film adaptation of the graphic novel — Hercules: The Thracian Wars.

Written by Ryan Condal, the buzz around town is pretty exciting concerning this one!!

But don't expect the light-hearted fun U saw on the tv series from the 90s. The Thracian Wars sets our hero in a darker time, when he was a mercenary who said EFF YOU to the gods after losing the fam.

The only thing that makes him happy now is duking it out in battle, and let's just say he's on a mission to maintain that contentment, LOL!!

After joining six other bloodthirsty warriors, they're hired by the King of Thrace to be his army's own set of personal trainers.

How fun!!! We're sure this is definitely going to bring in the same crowd who loved films like 300!!
