With the way that Demi Lovato talks and discusses her eating disorders, we're not so sure she's very far off when she says she thinks she was born with them.

The poor girl has been struggling with weight and food issues since she was eight.

We can't even imagine that.

Here's what she said:

“I think I was born with an eating disorder, because I’ve never had a relationship with food that was normal. I started overeating when I was about 8; I was a binge eater.

When I turned 12 I was bullied in school and they called me fat. I want from being an overeater to stopping eating and I lost about 30 lbs. From then on, I continued undereating, but my weight plateaued. [Then] I started throwing up to lose weight.

There’s definitely a temptation– every meal I fight it. It’s an addiction and I’m going to have to fight it for the rest of my life. There’s no cure and I may mess up, but I want to be a better role model for my fans and my younger sister.”

It really is beautiful that she's taking upon the fight not just for herself, but for her fans and her sister. She really is an incredible person!

Not only that but she's GORGEOUS. And her voice is beautiful too.

We would love her and her message and her music no matter what, but we love it even more that there's an incredible inspiration behind it.
