Along with the rest of the 111.3 million viewers watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, we thought Clint Eastwood's Chrysler commercial was, by far, the BEST!

We took his inspiring words as a metaphor for America working together to overcome the economic problems we're facing (or any problem for that matter), and of course, as a means to sell more cars, but others have insinuated that there was a pro-Obama political agenda behind it.

Karl Rove, a senior advisor to George W. Bush, went as far as to suggest that the White House actually PAID for the ad using our tax dollars! Ridiculous, right?

Clint wants to put the conspiracy theories to rest and spoke to Fox News to clear the air, explaining:

"I am certainly not politically affiliated with Mr. Obama. I am not supporting any politician at this time."

But why would he have said what he said without intending to make a political statement!?!?! Because he LOVES this country and wants to see it succeed, regardless of what political party is in power, continuing:

"There is no spin in that ad. On this I am certain. It was meant to be a message about job growth and the spirit of America. I think all politicians will agree with it. … If Obama or any other politician wants to run with the spirit of that ad, go for it."

Sadly, most politicians are too busy trying to make other politicians look bad to agree with the words coming out of Clint's mouth, but we think his message rang loud and clear!
